As of June 7, agricultural organizations had mowed 64 percent of the first cut of grass. The pace of work is faster than last year. In 2023, on this date it was 56 percent. This was reported by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food.

Brest region has completed the work. In Grodno region, 79 percent were mowed (a year ago - 61), Minsk - 73 (64), Mogilev - 46 (33), Gomel - 41 (57), Vitebsk - 31 (20).

In total, 4 million 190 thousand tons of haylage, 190 thousand of silage and 60 thousand of hay have been harvested throughout the country.
